Privacy Policy

    1. Who we are

    Writefoundry (writefoundry.io) is a LinkedIn content generation tool. We are committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how we use it.

    2. What data we collect

    When you create an account: your name and email address from Google OAuth or from your signup form. When you use the product: the LinkedIn posts you paste during onboarding (used only to build your voice profile), the topics you enter when generating posts, the posts generated for you, and your usage data (how many generations you have made). When you pay: your payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We only store your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription. When you use the Chrome extension: the extension stores your session token locally in your browser. It does not read your LinkedIn messages, connections, or any data beyond what you explicitly paste into it.

    3. How we use your data

    To provide the service, generating posts in your voice requires storing your style profile. To manage your subscription, plan status, usage limits, billing history. To send you transactional emails, account confirmation, payment receipts, and product updates you opt into.

    4. What we do not do

    We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not use your posts to train public AI models. We do not share your data with third parties except those listed below who help us operate the service.

    5. Third parties we use

    Supabase, database and authentication hosting. Anthropic, AI generation (your posts are processed to generate content and are not retained by Anthropic for training). Stripe, payment processing. Resend, transactional email delivery. Vercel, application hosting.

    6. Your rights

    You can request a copy of your data, request deletion of your account and all associated data, or update your personal information at any time from your Settings page. To request account deletion, email privacy@writefoundry.io or use the Delete Account option in Settings.

    7. Data retention

    We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

    8. Cookies

    We use essential cookies only, for authentication sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
